CEMIPS project intends to design and conduct training for ICT enabled transformation to government ministries, department and agencies (MDAs), in order to increase the awareness and competencies of effective use and management of ICT.
The training is planned to be executed in collaboration with President’s Office – Public Service Management (PO-PSM) and fully meet the strategic ICT use and management related training needs in the public sector.
It comprises three main components: Curriculum and content development, state of art ICT labs establishment and Awareness/Training delivery.

Strategic Management of ICT training
Strategic Management of ICT (SMICT) training started on 18th July 2010. Where by 120 senior managers from Tanzanian public sector organizations are getting trained on effective management of ICT. The training is taking place in Morogoro, and is expected to end on 6th August 2010.
Kickoff workshop took place on 15th December 2009.The project on Capacity Building on Effective Management of ICT in Public Sector(CEMIPS) was officiated/ introduced to the public.
